Laura N. Sciaroni, M.D. Dr. Sciaroni joined The Orthopaedic Group of San Francisco, Inc. in 2003 after completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin.  She completed her residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Sciaroni concentrates her practice in sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery, with particular focus on surgery and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee.

She is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.  She serves as a team physician for Skyline College and is affiliated with the St. Francis Center for Sports Medicine.  She holds memberships in the San Francisco Medical Society, Western Orthopaedic Association, California Orthopaedic Association, California Medical Association, Bay Area Knee Society, and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

A message from Dr. Sciaroni:

My goal is to return my patients to pre-injury function as safely and efficiently as possible through the judicious use of medications, physical therapy, surgery, and other modalities.  My office provides excellent resources for patient education and with their use, my patients are able to take an active role in their care, allowing the best possible control of the recovery process.
